Impact Delivered
Our Theory of Change
Impact drives our performance. It is not a by-product of our investment.
THE PROBLEM
Essential workers are being priced out of homeownership in the communities they serve, leading to long commutes, financial stress and workforce attrition.
THE SOLUTION
HOPE deploys capital through a shared equity co-investment model that reduces the deposit and mortgage required, increasing purchasing power and enabling homeownership close to work.
WHAT CHANGES
Homeownership improves wellbeing and financial security. Improved wellbeing strengthens workforce stability, productivity and retention.
A stable essential workforce supports stronger health, education and public safety systems.
How We Invest
Impact at HOPE is integral to how we invest
For Essential Workers
The ability to live closer to where they work, reducing housing insecurity, long commutes and the trade-offs that push many out of the communities they serve.
For Investors
Access to carefully selected residential property assets, owned and occupied by essential workers whose motivations are aligned with long-term asset quality and value.
Lived Experiences
Behind every data point is a real person, performing an essential job, building a life in the communities they serve

How HOPE Measures Impact: Our 4-Step Process
DEFINE
Our Theory of Change identifies the outcomes that matter. It provides the blueprint for the impact we aim to deliver for essential workers, employers and communities.
MEASURE
We track progress through longitudinal surveys. By comparing annual results against a pre-purchase baseline, we capture the change homeownership creates.
BENCHMARK
Homeowner outcomes are compared against HILDA1, ensuring results are assessed against broader Australian trends, not viewed in isolation.
QUANTIFY
Translate outcomes into dollar value using financial proxies sourced from the Australian Social Value Bank.
We have reported our impact annually since 2023, providing transparent insights into outcomes delivered for homeowners, employers and investors.
